Excel Challenge #3 -Subtotal -Solution!

 Hey everyone!

I recently completed the Subtotal Excel Challenge and wanted to share my solution with you all. The challenge required us to use the Subtotal function in Excel to calculate the subtotal for each category in a table of sales data.

After some experimentation and problem-solving, I was able to come up with a solution that involved sorting the data by the category column, selecting the entire range of data, and using the Subtotal function under the "Data" tab. I then customized the appearance of the subtotals using the "Subtotal" tool on the Design tab.

Overall, the challenge was a great opportunity to practice using the Subtotal function and learn more about how it can be used to analyze and summarize data in Excel. If you're interested in learning more, I highly recommend giving the Subtotal Excel Challenge a try.
